Vitamin D

We have all had the creeping crud that has been going around all winter. Most recently, Katherine and I had the coughing, throat thing. The three Robs were able to get together for a weekend in NC. We were supposed to have a girl's weekend with Lori. Unfortunately, K and I were feeling pretty bad and we had to postpone our girly weekend. We slept most of the day, which seemed to help. The rainy weather broke and we made a trip to the Promenade in town. I thought the sunshine and warm weather might do us some good. Besides, it's always fun to see the ducks, geese, and groundhogs that call Havre de Grace "home". I think it worked because we were both on the mend by the next day.

Easter Bonnet

We enjoyed a nice Easter. Katherine had a small egg hunt in her pajamas before church. We'll have to go to a big one next year. Mom-mom and Pop-pop were able to join us at church and then a luncheon cruise on the LQ. Scott and Sarah were also able to make the cruise. It was relaxing and turned out to be great weather and water on the river. We went all the way to Port Deposit! Here is the happy little family.

St. Patrick's Day!

We went on a St. Patrick's Day cruise on the Lantern Queen. The food and music were wonderful! We had a great time. Katherine was being very serious most of the night. She wasn't sure what to make of all of commotion. However, I think she really like all of the different instruments and the music. By the end of the night, she was, singing, dancing and using a spoon and cup to keep the beat.

What a Year!

It's hard to believe that Katherine has grown so much and learned so much in the last year. She is becoming more and more a little girl and less and less a baby. Here's a picture of her from this time last year and a recent one of her playing the piano (with baby doll bunting on her head!).

Snow Day

We didn't have many opportunities to take Katherine out in the snow this winter. But Grandma and Grandpa F. took her out one day before it melted away.
