Is it May Already?

May has caught us by surprise. I spent last week at the International Oil Spill Conference in Savannah, GA while Rob played Mr. Mom. The conference was really nice and I got to see a lot of old friends. It was nice, though, to come home to my handsome hubby and wild child!

Katherine helped us put together our new desk and filing cabinets on Saturday and Sunday. What a chore!

Katherine is making some progress with the potty...well at least with #2's. She often tells us that she has to go and then the whole family hangs out in the bathroom for a while. She has had several successful visits to the potty and seems encouraged to go more.

With everything else going on, I didn't get a chance to buy a birthday present for Rob and he didn't have a chance to buy me something for Mother's Day. Oh well, we'll have to pick a random day to celebrate.

Two weekends ago was the official Grand Opening of the Lantern Queen. It was a lot of fun with great weather. Here's a picture of Katherine. She thinks she is the "Lantern Queen"!
