SO Big!

We're in trouble now!

Katherine has finally caught on to crawling. She's fast and she's curious about EVERYTHING! To make life even more exciting, she's also pulling up on her knees every time she gets a chance. This has all made packing very challenging. Needless to say, the first things to be installed at the new house are baby gates. Here are a few pictures of her antics I've managed to grab.

Walks

We've been on a few walks recently. Katherine loves to be in her stroller and checking out everything. Here are a couple of pictures where she is sporting her walk ensembles. The sunglasses don't stay on for too long, but she likes being a diva occasionally.

First Swim

Katherine enjoyed her first swim last week at Grandma and Grandpa F.'s house. She seemed a little sedate, but it was probably because she was sick and it was shortly after breakfast (full belly). Her little float has two concentric circles of inflatable floats. In the middle is a mesh seat. It allows her to float around, splash water, and hang out without flipping over. She seemed real relaxed and enjoyed splashing and cruising around with Mommy and Grandma. Here are a few pictures.

The Process Begins!

It's official... Rob, Katherine, Mason and I will be moving to Havre de Grace, Maryland on April 12th. Most of the house is packed, the new mortgage is secured, and all of the preparations are being made to transition to MD. Although we appreciate the many offers from friends and family, we are hiring professional movers. We would not want to subject anyone to the weight and size of the larger pieces of furniture. There aren't that many good backs left!

An email will be sent out to everyone in the next few weeks which will include the new address and phone number.

Here is a picture of the new house.

1st Hair Cut!

We finally gave in and got Katherine's hair cut. Her bangs were out of control and in her eyes constantly. Barrettes only worked as long as she wasn't rolling around...which is never!

I had my hair cut today, so we thought it was a perfect opportunity to get K's done. We're not sure she really knew what was going on because she was quiet and fairly still through the whole thing.

Here are a few pictures of Katherine, Katherine and Mommy, and Katherine with Nick (the hairstylist).

Brenna's 1st Birthday

We were in Long Island this past weekend to celebrate Brenna's first birthday (a little belated). She showed off her dancing skills and stroller abilities (pushing a baby doll in the baby stroller)! Here is a picture of the NY Webers from the party. The other one is of the girls playing on Sunday.

Happy Birthday Brenna!

9 Months!!

Today was Katherine's 9 month check-up with the Pediatrician. She received her last hepititis shot and a finger prick to test for anemia. She was a trooper, but the finger prick really seemed to hurt.

Her stats are: Weight - 20 pounds, 11 ounces. Height - 29 inches.

Who would have guessed we'd have such a big baby?! We're going to have to buy a new car seat since she has met the limits for her current seat. They have to face backwards until their first birthday. If we had an idea that Katherine would grow so fast, we would have bought one of the "large capacity" models!

Here is a picture of Katherine's "aerobics" after her check-up.
