Las Vegas Trip

While those of you in the Northeast suffered through the snow just before Valentine's Day, Rob and I were enjoying the warm weather in Las Vegas. We were visiting Rob's sister Dawn and her husband Billy. The weather was beautiful with highs in the mid to upper 60's and sunny every day. Dawn & Billy were great hosts. We checked out the Lake Las Vegas area, The Strip, Freemont Street, and Red Rock Canyon. We also went to a local Chinese New Year celebration. Lake Las Vegas is a resort area with golf courses, a man-made lake, gated communities, and a shopping village. It's a nice area to get away from all of the tourists. Celine Dion's house is close by. Dawn & Billy, thanks for a great trip!
